The President of SCAAK - Mr. Nazmi Pllana attended the FCM General Meeting of the Assembly

On November 23, 2023 - Mr. Nazmi Pllana, the President of SCAAK, represented the organization at the General Meeting of the Assembly of the Federation of Mediterranean Certified Accountants (FCM) in Paris, France.
The gathering began with a warm welcome from Mr. Giorgio De Giorgi, the President of FCM, who provided insights into the latest developments within FCM. Among the agenda items was the review of membership applications from various organizations in the Federation, including the IAAB Institute from Kosovo, which was voted in as a full member, a process sponsored by SCAAK. During the meeting, approval was granted to the following new member organizations and associate members:
New members of FCM:
- Institute of Montenegro
- AAB Institute - Kosovo
New associate members:
Among other agenda items was the election of the Executive Committee, resulting in the election of the following members:-
- Nelson Ferreira (Portugal) – President
- Hafedh Boukhris (Tunisia) - Vice President
- Farouk Boulbahri (France) - Treasurer
- Nazmi Pllana (Kosova) – Member
- Emil Vasilev (Bulgaria) – Member
Additionally, a decision was made during the meeting to relocate FCM headquarters from Rome to Paris starting in 2024.
